UNBREAKABLE COMMITMENT. UNBREAKABLE LEGACY: Lebanon High School Kicks of Capital Campaign
The Lebanon High School, in partnership with the Cedar Foundation, is excited to announce the kick-off of their year-long capital campaign which will raise funds to equip the weightroom, located at the new junior high school building. This project revolves around the theme of creating an unbreakable legacy – for our students, for our community and for those who paved the way for our future achievements. That’s why we’re proud to announce that at the conclusion of this campaign, the new weightroom will be named in honor of one of Lebanon’s own – Harold “Bud” Getz. To learn more about Bud and his lasting contributions to our schools and community, please watch our video.
The campaign has set a goal to raise $40,000 over the year, with the intent to replace aging weightroom equipment with safer equipment that targets the fitness needs of our students and community members, including new cardio and strength-training machines. The weightroom improvements will benefit Lebanon High School students, especially those enrolled in the personal fitness and weightlifting courses and student-athletes, and community members who utilize the facility. Our goal is to provide a unique and safe learning environment when all Cedars can grow holistically.
Starting now, we invite you to join our #unbreakable.community as we work to ensure that the next generation of Cedars have the support and opportunities they need to continue a legacy of excellence started more than 170 years ago. Whether you are an alumni, parent, friend or neighbor, now is the time to show your support of our students and community -- we encourage you to learn more about our #unbreakable.vision and join us to become an UNBREAKABLE CEDAR. We invite you to visit our Cedar Foundation donation page, or reach out to our LHS Principal, Dr. Robert Nordall, Athletic Director, Mr. Anthony Sinico, or media contact, Ms. Michelle Norman.
