The end of the school year is always exciting -- it's the time of year when our seniors are preparing to take a step into the unknown, younger students are looking forward to their summer vacation, and teachers are working tirelessly to ensure students receive a great public education every day until the last day of school! The end of the school year is also an exciting time for our building and district administrators -- it's the time they get to celebrate with the district's Shining Stars at the annual Shining Star Recognition Celebration!
Shining Stars are staff members who received a nomination during the school year for their dedication, innovation, and passion for our learning community. Every month a Shining Star is selected from each building and recognized in our district newsletter and at their school. At the conclusion of the school year, each building selects one Shining Star of the Year as "the best of the best."
This year, the Lebanon School District is proud to honor sixty-four Shining Stars at the Shining Star Recognition Celebration! Hosted at Lebanon High School, the ceremony featured guest speaker Ms. Binh Nguyen, Class of 2013, the roll-call of Shining Stars, and the presentation of the Shining Star of the Year awards.
